The Customer warrants that they are authorised and have the right to publish listings or advertisements on SCREENWEST.

Listings and Classifieds copy shall be legal, decent, honest and truthful and shall comply with the requirements of current legislation.

While every endeavour will be made to meet the wishes of companies/individuals posting on the SCREENWEST website, SCREENWEST does not guarantee the insertion, the position, or appearance of any particular listing / advertisement.

SCREENWEST does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by (a) an error, inaccuracy or omission in the publishing of the listing or advertisement: (b) for any failure to publish a listing or advertisement on the date or dates specified by the Customer: (c) for the publication of a listing or advertisement t on the date or dates specified by the Customer whether the actual date be earlier or later than the date or dates specified: and/or in respect of any loss or damage alleged to have arisen through delay in forwarding or omission to forward replies to the Customer, however caused.

SCREENWEST reserves the right to omit, suspend, or change the position of any listing or advertisement, even if it has already been accepted for publication.

At all times SCREENWEST reserves the right to remove unacceptable advertisements from the website in circumstances where the advertisement is misleading, defamatory, immoral, dishonest untruthful, indecent or contrary to public policy.

SCREENWEST reserves the right to make any alteration it considers necessary or desirable in a listing or advertisement and to require images or copy to be amended to meet its approval.

The Customer shall be responsible for checking a listing or advertisement in advance of submitting it to SCREENWEST for publication. If SCREENWEST is shown to have made an error or inaccuracy in the insertion of or omission to insert any listing or advertisement it shall make a refund or adjustment to the cost of the listing or advertisement at a rate agreed between SCREENWEST and the Customer. No refund or adjustment will be made if the error or inaccuracy does not materially affect the cost or detract from the advertisement.

SCREENWEST reserves the right to increase listings or advertisement rates at any time or to amend the terms of contract as regards space or frequency of insertion.

The Customer acknowledges that we have made no guarantees with respect to usage statistics or levels of impressions for any listing.

The Customer will provide all materials for the listing in accordance with our policies in effect from time to time. All contents of listings are subject to our approval. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to reject or cancel any listing, space reservation or position commitment at any time. In addition, we may reject any URL link embodied within any listing and reserve the right to reject or terminate the display of a listing if it fails to conform to applicable laws and regulations, our policies or the public interest. We may reject or remove a listing for an advertised website which is not functional or which we deem unsuitable for linking to the Site. If we fail to publish a listing agreed pursuant to this Agreement (or in the event of any other failure, technical or otherwise, of such advertisement to appear), including any failure to deliver an agreed number of impressions within a particular time-frame, our liability to you will be limited to, at our option, either a refund of the listing portion of the fee relating thereto or placement of the listing at a later time in a comparable position.

DELIVERY METHODS & TIMINGS

Once listings or classifieds have been submitted to SCREENWEST we endeavor to publish within five to ten business days (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays).

ENSURING QUALITY OF CONTENT

The following terms of use are in place to protect the quality of the content on site. Quality content means that users of SCREENWEST can find the most relevant information quickly and easily and that companies listed receive the best possible promotion.

CLASSIFIEDS / Crew Entry

-The job title should reflect / summarise the job description (only one job per posting).

- We would advise that you represent yourself in a way which will optimise your employability as a freelance crew member but which also meets the following guidelines:

- You may only have ONE primary role. ("Editor/director" or "2nd/3rd AD" for example is not one role, but two).

- Secondary roles will not be listed on the website so you must decide in which department you wish to be represented.

- Your title must match your screen credit(s) exactly.

- Your primary role MUST correspond with AT LEAST one screen credit (for a television programme/series or feature film). This means it must also have been broadcast/officially screened on television or in a cinema (for short film credits see below).

- Short film credits must correspond with short films that have been screened in the official selection of a film festival.

- If all or most of your credits are gained from short films then we recommend you amend your role to a trainee level for the purpose of being included in the database which will be a resource for television and feature film production companies.

- Please fill in all details carefully, correctly and give all necessary details:

E.g. please list a feature documentary for TV as such, not just "doc".

E.g. "Post-production" does not qualify as a role, you must specify the exact credit (including if it was a trainee credit).

E.g. Deliberate omissions (such as Editor instead of Assistant Editor) will not be accepted.

Disclaimer: Receipt of your crew database form does not guarantee your inclusion into the database. Please ensure all details are correct and meet the above requirements otherwise your information will not be included and no correspondence will be entered into.

If you are currently unable to meet the requirements above, you may email us at any point in the future when you are able to do so.

Positioning of company/facility listings is currently alphabetical.

UNLAWFUL AND PROHIBITED USE

As a condition of your use of the Services, you will not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms of use. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the SCREENWEST.ie server.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any Services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any SCREENWEST.ie server or to any of the Services, through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Services.
